About Our Herb Gardens

Labyrinth and Teaching Garden

 Our Labyrinth and teaching garden

At Wildwood Institute, we grow more than 60 herbs in our garden, 100% pesticide free.

The herbal allies growing in this garden serve many purposes. Many are used in our products, some are made into medicine for students to take home from their workshops, but all of them provide interactive education and beauty to students and visitors, especially during herb walks. Students at Wildwood Institute enjoy using all their senses to interact with the living plants, to better learn what kind of healing the herbs are offering. Meanwhile, the herbs are also busy turning sunlight into energy, providing homes and food for pollinators, improving the soil, creating oxygen, smelling good, and propagating... they get so much done in a season!
