Benefits of Apprenticeship:
Now more than ever, herbal and holistic healing are the future of health care. As an Herbalist Apprentice, you will learn how to synthesize the wisdom of nature, tradition, science and intuition and put them to use for yourself and others.
What You Will Learn as an Apprentice:
-To create your own Herbal Materia Medica and Herbal Apothecary, and...
-How to use them heal yourself and your loved ones, and/or clients/patients
-To separate nutritional and herbal misinformation and myths from traditional health wisdom and scientific facts
-Which herbs and preparations are most applicable for which situations.
-The language of Nature: how plants speak to us through their physical appearance, taste, smell, and our intuition, informing us of their best use
This is the tradition of wise folk around the world, and I'd love to teach it to you. Based in my 20 years of experience in herbalism and twelve years of teaching, I share my deep love for plants, healing and nature in my classes. I am delighted to offer this method of training for those who feel called to the mystery and beauty of the Earth and all of her creatures.
Here's what current and past apprentices have to say:
"Kathleen has an amazing cornucopia of knowledge that shines forth. It is clear that the plants are her very good friends and she really knows how to work with them. That appeals to me immensely."
"I really like the way you teach, Kathleen. It is structured and relaxed at the same time. Though I do not feel pressured, your assignments are stimulating and challenging. You encourage me to excel, I desire to work and learn more. You make me very comfortable and at the same time, you keep things on track, on task."
I invite you to call me if you would like to discuss any of this at (608) 663-9608, or go ahead and send in your application.
It's an exciting time. I look forward to working with all of you that are called to work with me.
Most sincerely,
Kathleen Wildwood, Herbalist :)
